Our Success Journey Since 1995: Three Decades of Growth and Achievements

Our Story

For nearly 3 decades, we have been the invisible thread connecting families, dreams, and futures. Our journey began as IBA, evolved into IBAG, and today enters a new chapter as Rimmit. Our story traces back to the 1970s, when IBA (International Business Associates) opened its first branch in Maadi, offering essential business services such as document photocopying, international calls, and fax services. During that time, we proudly founded renowned brands including Business Today, Egypt Today, Sports & Fitness, and PC World and represented FedEx. In 1995, our journey reached a defining milestone when Western Union services joined the company. As a Western Union agent in Egypt, we launched our first money transfer service from our Garden City branch in partnership with Misr America International Bank (now AAIB), enabling secure inbound and outbound international transfers. By 1998, our growing network had expanded to 11 branches across Mohandessin, Heliopolis, Sidi Gaber in Alexandria, and Luxor, with our head office located on Al-Salamlek Street in Garden City. Following the conclusion of our partnership with FedEx in October 1998, we focused entirely on Western Union, reinforcing our position as a leading provider of international money transfer services in Egypt and by 1999, our network started to expand to 20+ branches.
